Christmas for children on December 13th 2008
La Salamandre Art Center offers the children and teenagers an enchanted morning to prepare Christmas decorations on December 13th from 10am to 12. A beautiful Christmas environment and surprises await them.

Exhibition "La Salamandre's Creations"
The professional artists and amateurs of La Salamandre Art Center present you their recent art works from December 5th to 12th in an exhibition entitled "La Salamandre's Creations". The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday December 5th from 5.30 PM to 7.30 PM with all the team of La Salamandre Art Center at the 1090 Pratt Avenue in Outremont.

"Métamorphoses", Michel Desroches' Exhibition at the Salon Lorane
La Salamandre Art Center and the Salon Lorane initiated a partnership to offer you art exhibitions outside the Art Center. To inaugurate this working together, we are pleased to invite you to the opening of Michel Desroches' art exhibition "Metamorphoses" on Wednesday December 3rd from 6 to 8pm. The artist's works will be exposed from November 26th to January 4th 2009 at the Salon Lorane (1632 Amherst, Metro Berri-Uqam).

Christmas Workshops
La Salamandre Art Center and Sandra Djina Ravalia organize for you "Christmas Workshops" on saturdays November 22th and 29th, and december 6th from 9am to 12. It will be a pleasure to sharre with you those mornings of Christmas preparation through artistic workshops:
- On november 22th from 9am to 12, we will be creation personalized Christmas cards
- On november 29th, we will create photophores for your candles
- On december 6th we will prepare decoration for your Christmas tables
Each 3 hours workshop costs $30, and if you wish to register for the 3 workshops, the price is of $80. The material is included except for your personal touch.

Theatre play: "Down dangerous Pass Road"

Talisman Theatre is proud to present the Montreal English premiere of the play DOWN DANGEROUS PASS ROAD by award winning Michel Marc Bouchard translated by Governor General award winner Linda Gaboriau.
In an eternal moment of deja-vu, DOWN DANGEROUS PASS ROAD, 3 brothers attempt to trace the consequences of their father's death 13 years ago. The characters struggle for frankness in moments of extreme lucidity.
Lines from their father's last poem repeat over and over in their heads - the same poem that span round and round in a whirlpool when he drowned. Struggling to break the cycle, they repeat snatches of their conversation from that fateful day, over and over.

Conferences on Pop Art
Andy Warhol is in Montreal for the next months in a wonderful exhibition that takes place at the Fine Arts Museum: "Warhol Live". In that context, La Salamandre Art Center offers you a cycle of conferences on Pop Art and Andy Warhol. These will take place on Wednesdays at 7pm between October 22nd and November 12th. A guided tour of the exhibition is organized on Friday November 7th. The global price of this cycle of conferences, museum and taxes included is of $52. Places are limited.
Children are not forgotten .... While the conferences take place, we offer them a "Pop Art" creation morning on Saturday November 8th from 10 to 12 AM. The cost of this activity is of $15 per child material included.
