The Salon des Métiers d'Art du Québec will take place from December 10 to 20 at Place Bonaventure. 350 artists and artisans of the province come there to show and sell their art creations. It is one of the major "must visit" rendez-vous of Montreal.

Between 1905 and 1936, the couple Arthur and Hedy Hahnloser-Bühler brought together a collection of works of art composed basically of paintings of artists, witnesses of their time - with especially La Blanche et La Noire (1913) Félix Vallotton and Le Semeur (1888) by Vincent van Gogh. Entitled “Villa Flora, Les temps enchantés”, this exhibition, which takes place until February 7 at the Musée Marmottan-Monet in Paris, presents 75 paintings and sculptures, mainly of fauvism and the nabis.
Tone, Anthony Livet, is a painter of French origin that has elected domicile in Montreal. Deeply urban, he draws his inspiration from the city. He uses mixed techniques, mixing paint, graffiti and collage, on wood. His works are an ode to the woman, the city and nature. We are led with pleasure in the modern universe and the reading of his works.

Richard McDonald is an American sculptor born in 1946 in Pasadena, California. His works reveals the incredible beauty of the human body. The characters he creates, artists of circus, dancers, acrobats, are an incredible lightness in a continuous movement. He manages to capture fleeting moments and immortalize the strength, joy and discipline of these dancers and these acrobats.
