In this mosaic course you will learn how to create a mirror while learning the basics and essential notion of the discipline.

This three-session workshop is dedicated to creating a mosaic mirror. Participants will use different materials such as smalti, glass, ceramics and will be able to bring any interesting material or object that they wish to incorporate into their mosaic. Participants can learn techniques while choosing a combination of materials and playing with shapes, colors and textures to create patterns around a mirror. The mirror will be either rectangular 26cm x 35xm or square 30cm.
All the steps necessary to create a mosaic mirror are presented: choice of colors, cutting technique, placement technique, installation and application of cement dyed glue.

- Presentation of equipment and pliers to use
- Initiation to the cut, practice cuts with the pliers
- Choice of colors to personalize the design
- Implementation of the project.
- Create tiled patterns before permanently transferring them to the mirror
- Transfer the mosaic permanently to the mirror using cement.
- Technique of the installation of the grout if necessary.
Participants leave with their project once the cement is finished or come on appointment, for the completion of the project.
