In this painting course dedicated to oil, you will get familiar with the materials and the brushes and learn the various method to apply the paint, the basics of colour mixing as well as the steps of composing and completing a painting.
No prerequisites are required, the course is exclusively for beginners.
Maximum 6 students per class.
The course is taught at 2455 Rachel East on Le Plateau Mont-Royal in Montreal.

6 élèves et un professeur, la formule idéale pour débuter en peinture à l'huile. Richard est patient et attentif, et surtout très clair et très professionnel. Un vrai bonheur ce cours.

a very good course to start painting. I loved the place, and loved the fact that we are only beginners, not more than 6, to start learning oil painting. The teacher is very good, ans very nice.

I loved this class. Just beginners with the teacher, all the attention for us, 6 people max. Perfect for me. No complex and a lot of learning.
Good place to start
This course is really interesting for beginners because the group is very small, only 6 people, and the teacher takes time to show us the basics, og painting and of tools using, with exercises, and patience.... We have time to start something on our own, and she guides us closely to get to a nice result, important to feel confortable to carry on. I really loved that class.
Excellent cours
Un excellent cours pour apprendre le peinture à l'huile. Diane commence par de la théorie pour nous expliquer comment manipuler la peinture à l'huile, les pinceaux, les produits solvants, ... et nous fait faire des exercices pour nous préparer et comprendre. Ensuite elle nous laisse de la liberté pour nous lancer dans des sujets faciles qui nous interessent. Les 6 semaines passent très très vite. Le mieux, après, est de continuer avec Richard dans le cours de 12 semaines. Il est excellent aussi!
